Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Finding Imaan ("the app," "we," "us," or "our"), a mobile application operated by Khuzaima Nikhat, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the app and our website at reeloadsystems.com (collectively, the "Services").
1 Information Collected
Account Information
By default, Finding Imaan uses anonymous authentication — no personal information is required to use the app. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we collect your email address and display name (which may include your first and/or last name) as provided by those services. We do not collect your phone number, physical address, or other personal details beyond what you provide through sign-in.
Habit & Worship Data
The app stores your prayer logs, deed tracking records, dhikr counts, and custom goals ("User Data"). This data is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable cloud sync, this data is also stored on our cloud servers to provide backup and cross-device access.
Location Information
To calculate accurate prayer times for your area, the app can access your device location and collect your precise GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude). Location is read only while you are using the app — never in the background. Your saved coordinates are stored on your device and, if you enable cloud sync, backed up to your account. When the app detects that you may have travelled, your coordinates may be sent to your device's operating system (Apple or Google) to display a place name; that lookup is not stored by us.
Health Information
The app includes an optional Excused Mode for women that lets you record the start and end dates of your menstruation period, so the app can pause prayer tracking and streaks during that time in accordance with Islamic practice. This is health information you provide voluntarily. Like your other worship data, it is stored locally on your device by default and — only if you enable cloud sync — backed up to your account. We never use it for advertising and never share it with third parties.
Device & Diagnostic Information
We automatically collect crash reports and diagnostic data (device model, OS version, app version) through Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix issues. This data does not contain personally identifiable information.
Analytics Data
We collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the user experience. This includes general interaction events such as screen views and feature usage. Analytics data is not linked to your identity.

3 Data Storage
Finding Imaan follows a local-first architecture. All your habit and worship data is stored on your device using a local database (SQLite). Data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud synchronization.
If cloud sync is enabled, your data is stored securely in Google Cloud (Firebase/Firestore). All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using Google's default encryption.
You can disable cloud sync at any time. When sync is off, all data remains solely on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

5 App Blocking & Screen Time
Finding Imaan includes an app blocking feature to help users stay focused during worship times:
- iOS: Uses Apple's FamilyControls/Screen Time API. The apps you select are represented as opaque tokens that even we cannot read as real app names. We never receive your actual app-usage activity. If you enable cloud sync, your selection is backed up to your account so it carries across your devices.
- Android: Uses a foreground service to detect the currently active app during prayer times. No browsing history or app-usage activity is logged or transmitted. Your selection of blocked apps is stored on your device and, if cloud sync is enabled, backed up to your account.
The app blocking feature evaluates your activity entirely on your device — that activity is never sent to our servers. Only your selection of blocked apps is backed up, and only when you enable cloud sync.
6 Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@reeloadsystems.com.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing companies. Any data we collect is used solely for providing and improving our Services.
8 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app's Cloud Sync settings, or by contacting us at support@reeloadsystems.com.
- Disable cloud sync at any time — your data will remain only on your local device.
9 Compliance
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.
CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)
Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to request that a business that collects a consumer's personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers. We do not sell personal information.
